Not sure what to expect? You’re in the right place.

I’ve pulled together answers to the most common questions about my process, pricing, and support, so you can feel clear, confident, and excited to dive into working together.

  • Most projects take 2–4 weeks from our first strategy call to launch. This includes brand alignment, design, revisions, and handover training. Timelines can be shorter for smaller sites and longer for complex builds and also depend on the packages and add ons selected at purchase.

  • I guide you through a 4-part journey:
Discovery - getting clear on your vision & values.
Design - bringing your brand to life with strategy & artistry.
Refinement - polishing every detail until it feels aligned.
Launch - handing over with confidence & training.

  • My custom Squarespace websites start from $3500 NZD with flexible payment plans available. I’m also happy to tailor to your needs and budget where possible so you only pay for what you need, not cookie-cutter extras.

  • Yes! I believe investing in your business should feel doable, not daunting. That’s why I offer flexible instalment options you can spread over time. This looks like a 33% deposit to secure your spot, 33% on day one of your design period, 34% on the final day of your design period before site hand over. If you need more payment instalments I’m happy to discuss alternate options with you in our discovery call.

  • Just your Squarespace billing plan. If there are any other additional costs based on the scope of your requirements these will be indicated in our consultation call and factored into your initial invoice. If however, your requirements change and new requests are made mid project which effect the scale of the design, I’ll communicate this to you and requote at the time letting you know if fitting them into your design period will be possible as well. I’m not a fan of surprise bills either, so all of this will be communicated to you at the time if it is relevant to your project.

  • Which plan depends a bit on what features and functionality your website will have. I’ll help you pick the best plan for you when we get on our lesson & launch call on the final day of the design period. You can check them out here: https://www.squarespace.com/pricing

  • Yes. I have experience across a range of platforms but Squarespace is my preferred host and specialty. It blends design freedom with user-friendliness and is perfect for small businesses who want a site they can easily update without a developer. It’s appropriate for basic sites, right through to complex multi-faceted sites whether that’s e-commerce, course hosting, digital products, booking system integrations and so much more. If you’re unsure whether Squarespace is appropriate for your project, I’d be happy to answer any questions :)

  • That depends on the package you choose! I offer a mini and a premium package. The mini includes a custom wordmark logo, colour palette, typography suite, and a mini brand guide so you can show up consistently across platforms. The premium package includes multiple logo variations, a comprehensive brand identity, analysis and strategy. We dive deep into your vision, voice, ideal client and I craft your brand around your magic.

  • Absolutely. If your site structure works but the visuals feel out of alignment, I can craft a brand refresh that elevates your existing site without starting from scratch. I recommend booking a Discovery call with me and I can suggest which package might best suit your needs or see whether a more bespoke approach might work better for you and your business.

  • Absolutely. If your current site feels outdated or off-brand, I can refresh and reimagine it into something modern, soulful, and aligned with your business growth.

  • Yes! Every design is created to be fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile—because most of your dream clients are browsing on their phones.

  • Yes! I’ll provide a personalised handover + training video so you can confidently make updates without needing to call me for every little change.

  • Yes! After your launch, you can book me for design days, retainer hours, or updates whenever you need. Think of me as your creative partner, not a one-and-done designer.

  • No problem! I build on Squarespace because it’s intuitive and beginner-friendly. Plus, I’ll walk you through everything so you feel comfortable, not overwhelmed.

  • Definitely. I work with small businesses worldwide, time zones and distance aren’t an issue.

  • DIY can get you started, but hiring a designer gives you:

    • A professional, strategic brand that attracts your ideal clients.

    • A polished site that builds trust + credibility.

    • Saved time and less overwhelm, so you can focus on your actual zone of genius.

  • Yes. For those just starting out, I offer simplified brand identity packages (wordmark logo, colour palette, fonts, and brand guide). It’s a strong foundation you can grow from.

  • Each project includes two rounds of revisions to make sure your design feels 100% aligned. Most clients feel ready by then, but extra tweaks are always available if needed.

  • That’s what the strategy phase is for—we align deeply before I start designing. Because of that, my clients rarely need major changes. But if something doesn’t feel right, we refine until it does.

  • If it feels like a good fit, I’ll send you a proposal + contract. Once your deposit is in, we’ll lock in your project start date and begin with a brand strategy questionnaire.

  • In order for us to make the most effective use of our time together, we’ll need your content submitted by the Thursday before your design period. Your content guidelines and questionnaires will all be accessible in your Client Portal.

  • To be fair to you, and every other client in the design calendar, I stick firmly to my design schedule. All my clients would be upset if I pushed back their design date because a client earlier in the schedule wasn’t ready. If you’re worried you won’t be able to meet the content deadlines, send me an email (hello@liberatedlioncreative.com) and I’ll let you know the next available date in my design calendar. Please note, 6 business days or later after booking, there are financial repercussions to changing your design date. Your 33% deposit holds your place in the design calendar, and that spot is no longer available to be booked by anyone else. If you change your design date within 5 business days of booking, your deposit will be used to hold your new date in the design calendar. If you change your design date 6 business days or later after booking, your deposit cannot be used towards another design date and will not be refunded.

  • No. It is transferrable within a certain timeframe, and in certain circumstances, however it is not refundable.

  • You will be required to provide the photography and copy (words) for your website. Along with any supporting documents or existing branding you wish to include. We’ll discuss photography and copy writing in our consultation call and if necessary I’d be happy to make a few suggestions for additional experts bring on your team,  if you’re really uncomfortable completing this aspect of the work yourself. My pre design Discovery Phase is super thorough and I’ll be there with you every step of the way if you get stuck so personally I have faith that together we will get there!

  • You will. I will transfer the copyright across to you for any elements I have created for your design including the site itself. Please note stock images, licensed fonts and some brand elements from sources such as Canva have their own copyright agreements - I do not take responsibility for the use of these beyond your website design, please check their agreements thoroughly if you decide to use them in future branding. (Note the included fonts on Squarespace are fine - it’s just purchased ones that this would apply to)

  • No, not at all. We can discuss this in the consultation call if you don’t have one yet. Squarespace has an excellent domain providing service built in which makes ongoing maintenance easy after launch. Alternatively, if you already have one It is super helpful for me if you can remember who hosts your domain!

  • No problemo, it happens. I just ask that you kindly let me know (no one like being left hanging on a high five!)

Still with me?

That’s your sign.

The next step is simple: let’s chat about your vision and see if we’re the perfect fit!

If your heart is nodding yes, let’s begin.
